Looking for a cozy way to kick off December? Blaine has you covered. The 3rd Annual Blaine Night Market & Luminary Walk is back on Friday, December 4 and Saturday, December 5, 2026, from 4:00 to 9:30 PM both nights in downtown Blaine. Home base is the Blaine Public Library at 610 3rd Street, a short stroll from the waterfront.
It’s still a fairly new tradition, but it’s quickly become a local favorite: holiday lights, live music, local makers and food trucks, all wrapped up with a glowing walk at the end of the night.
What’s at the market
According to the Blaine by the Sea event page, you’ll find artisan and craft makers, local artists, specialty food vendors and holiday gift vendors, plus participating downtown businesses joining in. It’s a great chance to knock out some holiday shopping and support local sellers at the same time.
Come hungry, too. Food trucks and mobile vendors will be serving dinner, treats and warm seasonal drinks all evening, so you can grab something hot and keep wandering.

Live music both nights
Each evening has its own headliner: Veronica North on Friday and SpaveBand on Saturday. Multiple live bands and choirs will be performing throughout the weekend too, so there should be music in the air wherever you wander.
The Luminary Walk
The highlight of the evening is the Luminary Walk. Placemake Arts Northwest describes it as a route along the Cain Creek Path where hundreds of glowing lights guide visitors through the evening. It’s the kind of thing that’s best experienced in person, so bundle up, bring the family and take it slow.
Tickets
Tickets are sold through the 2026 Night Market ticket page, hosted by the Pacific Arts Association:
- Adult: $10
- Youth (ages 12–18): $5
- Family: $25 (two adults and up to three children)
Prices and details can change, so check the ticket page before you head out.
A night out for a good cause
The event is organized by the Blaine Harbor Music Festival, and all proceeds support the festival’s 25th Anniversary Season and its Musicians Camp. Your ticket helps keep live music going in Blaine, which feels like a pretty great trade for a warm drink and a walk under the lights.
One quick note: Blaine’s Holiday Harbor Lights is its own separate event, held the weekend before, so Blaine really does get two big holiday weekends in a row this year.

Make a night of it
Events like this are a big part of what makes Blaine such a fun place to live, with its walkable downtown right by the water.
