It’s going to be a wild crazy weekend of prep basketball at the state tournament this weekend in Yakima!Lynden Christian has both boys’ and girls’ teams in the Class 1A tournaments and Lynden High School duplicated the feat in the Class 2A tournaments.
“We did the math, and it’s pretty astronomical,” Lynden athletic director, Mike McKee said in a phone interview.” It’s tough enough to do it with two teams from the same school….I would say the WIAA gets pretty lucky, because I figure attendance at the SunDome is going to be pretty good with four Lynden teams there.”
