We held our First-Time Home Buying Seminar last week at the Lynden Library.
Daisy Valladeres & Ramon Llanos, Realtors from our office did a terrific job speaking on the steps to home ownership. Hendor Rodriquez, a consultant from Wells Fargo talked about the necessary steps to getting a home mortgage. A study found that 70 percent of Hispanics view getting a mortgage as more difficult than in the past, compared to 54 percent of all Americans. For our office these statistics mean that local Hispanic families could benefit from knowing what their home ownership options are. We plan on hosting more classes due to the interest from the community.
